Introductory Session
An initial 20 minute chat followed by 20 minutes coaching to allow you to get a feel for how coaching works and to ask any questions you may have.

Coaching and Consultancy
Coaching
Coaching on all aspects of the writing life and the creative process, including: inspiration; motivation; creative blocks; methods of working; time management; relationships; boundaries; productivity; business skills; submissions and publishing. All coaching prices include an ‘Action Plan’ after each session, tailor-made for the individual client.
£70 per hour (telephone coaching)
£80 per hour (telephone coaching including e-mail support between sessions)
£150 for 75 minutes – In-person coaching
Most clients choose to have 2 or 3 coaching sessions per month, investing between £140 and £240.
Literary Consultancy as part of a Coaching package
Where clients wish feedback on work in progress to be included as part of their coaching conversation, a separate fee is charged for reading.
Reading fee:
1-20 pages of double-spaced A4: £35
21-50 pages of double-spaced A4: £60
I read work in progress in-between sessions and feed back on this verbally within the coaching sessions, providing constructive criticism and editing advice. I also pencil-annotate your manuscript and this is returned to you.

Literary Consultancy
For a Full Written Reader’s Report:
This service includes pencil annotation of the manuscript, a full written report. For a full-length manuscript, the report would be between 7-10 single-spaced pages. A complimentary 30 minute telephone conversation is included.

| For each additional 50 pages after 200: | £60 |

The Coaching/Consultancy Package
Minimum of three months’ commitment. Limited to 8 clients at any one time.
This package includes two monthly coaching calls – to include a literary consultancy element, reading of up to 50 pages of double-spaced manuscript during the month, plus e-mail and telephone support. Also includes a fortnightly ‘Action Plan’.
£210 per month
This package is for those who are fully committed to their writing and are ready to take their work to the next level. Our coaching can address many areas of your life and your writing, including inspiration, motivation, writer’s ‘block’, productivity, time management, making money from your writing and negotiating agents and publishers. I will support you at every stage of your writing life, whether you are a beginner or an experienced author. Our mutual aim is to help you have a writing life that you love; for writing to be an integrated part of your life; for you to achieve your writing goals with ease.
When you join me as a coaching/consultancy client, you will open up your awareness of what is possible for you as an individual and as a writer. As an experienced, published novelist, I can give firm, constructive criticism about your work in progress, to ensure your work is as good as it can possibly be. As a trained life coach, I have the tools to guide you to make the right creative and life decisions for yourself. If you are ready to take yourself seriously as a writer, this is the option for you.

The Coaching/Consultancy “Deal”
The Coaching/Consultancy package @ £210 per month includes:
- 2x 1 hour telephone coaching sessions per month.
- A Review form by email from me within 24 hours of each call outlining your action plan for the fortnight ahead, including work on your manuscript and other aspects of your life and your writing
- In-between email or telephone support. I write Mondays and Tuesdays but am available from Wednesday to Friday to speak with you. (You are welcome to call me during office hours and if I am free I will give you on the spot help with your query. If I am not free I will call you back as soon as I am. I simply ask that 'in-between' calls be limited to a 15 minute duration.)
- Reading up to 25 pages of your MS in between each session (up to 50 pages per month). I will make notes and consider your work and give you detailed constructive criticism and feedback during your calls. I will also return your manuscripts with my pencil-annotated notes.
- A FREE gift of “The Writing Coach” e-book, which will be available from October.
- Information sheets e-mailed to you as I produce them. You will always be the first to receive all printed materials. You will also automatically be subscribed to my newsletter “This Writing Life” which includes many writing exercises, inspirational ideas and interviews with industry professionals.
