About Jacqui
Jacqui Lofthouse is a Writing Coach and Novelist. She is the author of three novels, 'The Temple of Hymen' (Penguin 1995), 'Bluethroat Morning' (2000) and 'Een Stille Verdwijning' (De Bezige Bij 2005). Her novels have sold over 100,000 copies in the UK, the USA and Europe.
Jacqui has taught creative writing in a broad variety of settings including at City University, the Cheltenham Festival, for Artemisia holidays in Tuscany and at Richmond Adult and Community College. She has an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia and is a graduate of CoachU, the leading US Coach Training Provider. Jacqui has been profiled in ‘The Independent’ newspaper and her work has been reviewed in publications such as The Times, The Observer, The Telegraph and Time Out. She is an Associate of The Richmond Green Practice and the Non-profit organisation Collective Arts. She is also a School Governor at a London Comprehensive.
Jacqui is married to the cartoonist David Lewis and has two children. She is currently editing her fourth novel.
